MTN Uwisely – Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Uwisely service, websites, apps, and any related content or features (collectively, the “Service”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

1. Duration & Participation

1.1 The MTN Uwisely service is an online learning and digital content service that provides educational videos, quizzes, interactive tools and other digital content, which may be accessed via the internet and mobile networks brought to you by MTN in partnership with Mindray Technologies (henceforth called the “ORGANIZER”).

1.2 The portal provides users with an engaging learning and digital content service through the portal. This is an ongoing service running in 365-day cycles (SERVICE PERIOD), starting from the launch date.

2. Eligibility

The SERVICE is open to residents of Nigeria who are prepaid subscribers of MTN and over 18 years old. Employees, representatives, and agents of the Organizer or associated vendors are not eligible. The PARTICIPANT is considered to be the SIM card owner or a user authorized by the owner.

3. Means of Participation

3.1 MTN subscribers can join the service by dialing *305# at N150/day (incl. VAT) after the free day.

3.2 At the discretion of the Organizer, fallback pricing of N100/day, N50/day, N30/day and N10/day will be applied for users whose charging fails due to insufficient airtime. NGN 10 – 4 Hours of Access, NGN 30 – 8 Hours Access, NGN 50 – 12 Hours Access, NGN 100 – 18 Hours Access and NGN 150 – 24 hours Access.

3.3 Access to the UWisely portal requires an active MTN data subscription. Data charges apply separately from the service subscription fee.

3.4 Participation in this service is subject to these rules, interpreted at the discretion of the Organizer. The Organizer reserves the right to amend these terms at any time without prior notice. All promotional content or advertising material shall form part of these Terms and Conditions.

4. Subscription

4.1 Every SUBSCRIPTION is charged at N150 daily, inclusive of VAT.
If a PARTICIPANT does not have sufficient credit on a given day, they will not receive content or benefits for that day.

To manage the subscription, simply dial *305#.

The Organizer may cancel subscriptions upon clear expression of non-interest by a PARTICIPANT via SMS.

5. Additional Capabilities

5.1 For info about the service, send “HELP WISE” to 77726 if you are on a daily subscription.

5.2 To retrieve portal login credentials, send “PASSWORD” if you are on a daily subscription to 77726.

6. Abuse and Disqualification

6.1 Participants may not use machines or scripts to automate SMS interactions. Any suspected breach of this rule gives the Organizer the right to disqualify the PARTICIPANT.

7. Organizer’s Responsibilities

7.1 The Organizer is not responsible for delays or failures in SMS delivery or billing due to technical issues. SMS logs in the Organizer’s system and serve as proof of sent/received messages.

8. Personal Data Protection

8.1 All personal data collected will be treated confidentially in accordance with Nigerian data protection laws. It will not be shared unless legally required or explicitly authorized by the PARTICIPANT.

9. Governing Law & Amendments

9.1 This SERVICE is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
These Terms & Conditions remain in effect during the SERVICE PERIOD unless amended or suspended by the ORGANIZER.
